1. It is an online update, so you need a broadband or fast internet connection.
2. Recommended your phone battery at least 80% Full
3. Set the USB connection of your phone to Phone Mode (Normal Mode) : Tools >>> Control Panel >>> Connections >>> USB >>> choose Phone Mode (Normal Mode)
4. Install PC Suite for Smartphone. (Includede in CD delivered with your phone)
   
5. Install Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS).
6. Make sure you have installed  flashplayer plug-in for your Internet Explorer browser
7. Run SEUS, follow the instructions on screen.
8. You will be prompted to connect your phone to PC while pressing "c" button (or "@" on M600 and P1i). Keep the button pressed, don't release it until your phone detected by SEUS.
9. SEUS will check if there is available newer firmware for your phone, and start downloading if it is available.
10. After the downloading is finish, the programs starting to write (flashing) the new firmware into your phone.
11. Wait until it's finished, follow the instruction  on screen

Notes :

• Don't close connection when updating is in progress!
• Try at your own risk :)
• For your convenience, just ask Sony Ericsson Service Center to update your firmware phone :)
